Since we launched the Reverse Vending Machines in association with Coca-Cola, our guests have recycled over 100,000 plastic bottles. If we stacked those bottles on top of each other, it would be almost the same height as 5,000 double-decker buses. That’s over 175 times higher than the lastminute.com London Eye!

Merlin Entertainments are continuing to progress against our sustainability ambitions, including removing unnecessary packaging and plastic on all our branded merchandise. In our SEA LIFE attractions we have switched 75% of plastic contained within our retail products to a type that is 100% recyclable, and we banned all plastic straws and retail plastic bags at the end of 2018.
